About

From wireframing to initial mockups through coding the front-end of a site, I have over 15 years of experience designing and collaborating on building websites. I can write HTML and CSS from scratch and I’m comfortable using Bootstrap or templates. I approach responsive design by putting the mobile experience first, gradually working up to the desktop.

Previous experience has also given me the opportunity to work on many different types of printed projects—from logos, icons, branding, full-page ads, business cards, brochures, posters, and direct-mail.

I attended Kent State University and earned a BFA in Visual Communication Design in 2002. While I was there I fell in love with letterpress. I have a soft spot for linocut and wood engraving. I go birding sometimes. I hate the beach, but I love the ocean.
